What can I expect during my initial consultation?
You’ll meet with a Consultant Gynaecologist and clinical assistant to discuss your symptoms and medical history in detail. An examination may be offered to you performed. A tailored care plan will be provided.
What is included in a ‘Consultation with Ultrasound’?
A full gynaecological consultation and a diagnostic ultrasound scan during the same appointment. Results are reviewed immediately, and treatment options discussed.
Can I have an ultrasound without a consultation?
Yes, we offer standalone ultrasound appointments for diagnostic purposes. Please see our detailed information regarding this.
How soon can I be seen?
We aim to offer appointments within as soon as possible. Please check our online booking system or contact our team.
Do you offer remote consultations?
Yes, we provide telephone consultations for follow-up discussions and minor concerns.
Is there a fee for prescriptions or letters?
No, both are provided free of charge as part of your care. Repeat prescriptions may incur a charge.
When would a biopsy be needed?
If an abnormality is found during your consultation or scan, a biopsy may be recommended to investigate further. Please see prices for this separately.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept debit/credit cards and bank transfers. Contact our office for full details.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. All costs are transparent and clearly listed. If your Consultant identifies an additional service could be of benefit following your consultation, we will discuss this with you at your appointment for you to make an informed choice. Prescriptions and letters are included free of charge after the initial consultation. Repeat prescriptions are charged for.
