Biopsies

We offer endometrial, cervical and vulval biopsies where appropriate.

A biopsy may be recommended if abnormalities are identified during a scan or examination, or if further assessment is needed. These procedures are performed in our clinic using local anaesthetic where appropriate and will always be discussed with you during your consultation before being arranged.

Cervical Smear Test

ExEm® Foam Hysterosalpingo-Foam Sonography

A minimally invasive ultrasound test used to assess whether the fallopian tubes are patent (open), as part of fertility investigations.

Saline Infusion Sonography (SIS)

A specialised ultrasound examination that uses sterile saline to provide a clearer view of the inside of the womb and assess the uterine cavity.

Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT)

A simple blood test that can screen for a range of chromosomal conditions during pregnancy.
